«Stirol» during 8 months has increased sales volume by 27,5%
JSC «Concern Stirol» during 8 months 2008 has increased sales and production volumes for all main final products. In total «Stirol» during January-August this year has sold final products on the amount of 3 billion 231 mln. 882 thousand hryvnas (UAH), that is by 27,5% more than during the same period of last year.

Shareholders Meeting took place at JSC «Concern Stirol»
On the 6th of September 2008 it was took place General Meeting of Shareholders of JSC «Concern Stirol», where it was considered results of joint stock company activity during 2007. Shareholders at the Meeting also introduced changes and additions in Statute of JSC, approved New Regulation about Supervisory Board of the Company, elected the Chairman and one member of the Supervisory Board of JSC «Concern Stirol».

In June 2008 the JSC «Concern Stirol» has passed certification of urea-formaldehyde resins production facility in accordance with the requirements of International Standard ISO 9001:2000.
Consistent with the principles of continuous improvement, the management of JSC «Concern Stirol» has decided to expand the field of Quality management system certification as one of the Objectives in the sphere of Quality planned for 2008th.

First half year results
JSC «Concern Stirol» during January—June 2008 has increased export sales volumes by 26,2% from 1 billion 180 million 72 thousand hryvnas (UAH) in first half year in 2007 to 1 billion 489 mln. 176 ths. UAH during first six months of the current year. In particular it was increased export shipments of ammonia by 39,6% up to 599 mln. 885 ths. UAH, granulated ammonium nitrate by 47,3% to 140 mln. 859 ths.UAH, sodium nitrate by 61,3% to 13 mln. 727 ths. UAH, sodium nitrite by 90,7% up to 8 mln. 541 ths. UAH. During 6 months of the current year it was sold urea-ammonium nitrate solutions (UAN) in the amount of 128 mln. 281 ths. UAH, company increased this value 15 times comparing to 6 months of 2007.

In total «Stirol» during January-May this year has sold final products on the amount of 2 billion 519 mln. 175 thousand hryvnas (UAH), that is by 27,6% more than during the same period of last year.
